RISE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

We made the difficult decision to move our originally scheduled RISE endurance event on December 5, 2020 to virtual due to the recent governor mandates and rising COVID cases in Utah. The great news is you can still earn your coin and shirt throughout the month of December and anyone can now participate across the country! RISE is True North Endurance’s introductory endurance event. Designed to push you out of your comfort zone and get your feet wet with endurance events, you will learn to work as a team while completing challenges. Each event will be unique, last 3+ hours and strives for 100% completion rate. Every event will feature a service component to it.

The Event

Date: Saturday, December 5, 2020

 

Time: Check in will start at 7:30 AM sharp. Do not be late.

 

Location: Lorin Farr Park - 769 Canyon Road, Ogden, UT

 

Pricing (registration ends December 5, 2020 unless sold out)

  • Through November 5, 2020 - $35

  • After November 5, 2020 - $40

 

Age Limit: 16 and over at time of event (minors under age 18 are permitted to participate as long as a parent/guardian is present throughout the entire duration of the event as a participant or shadow)

Registration Includes

  • Coin for finishing the event

  • Long sleeve poly cotton t-shirt for finishing the event (if you register anytime after November 22, 2020, your finisher shirt may be mailed to you after the event)

  • Photographs during the event

  • Registration into Ruckmas event which will be held as a part of this event

 

Mandatory Participant Gear List

Every person must bring the following items. This is mandatory for the success and safety of the event. If you show up without some of these items, you may not be able to participate.

 

Standard Items

  • Pack/ruck to carry your items in

  • Headlamp (bring extra batteries)

  • Roll of duct tape

  • 2 chem lights/glow sticks attached to the outside of your pack/ruck

  • Black Sharpie marker

  • Reflective vest (not a PT belt)

  • Pair of work or tactical gloves

  • Emergency blanket (the shiny plastic kind)

  • Government issued ID

  • Enough water to get you through the event

  • Enough nutrition/food/electrolytes to get you through the event

 

Specialty Items

  • Mask/face covering

  • Hand sanitizer
